The water butt collection for JARDIN netherlands are unique in their architecture. Injection moulded parts makes it possible to stack each volume which results in a minimisation of storage space. Distributed in Europe by DIY stores.
WICKER LOUNGE - Allibert
For ALLIBERT we designed several wicker based lounge elements which are suiting the latest trends within the garden market. The simulation of wicker using injection moulding techniques is a unique way to make unique products with a competitve proposition.
LAGO - Jardin netherlands
GAS BARBEQUE - Barbecook
For barbecook we developed an innovative barbeque serie, in which it is possible to create your own heating climate. This will change the flavour of your meat depending on the addition of wine, wood chimps into specially designed dishes.
WET & DRY ORGANISER - Royal VKB
ROYAL VKB asked several Dutch designers to complete their range of smart usefull products within their social kithen project. We developed a single moulded silicone part which serves as a wet & dry organiser. The integrated suction cup makes a stable fit on your working top.
BOTTLE COASTER - Sealskin
The stainless steel wine cooler for VACU VIN is a combination of aesthetics with innovative functionality. The inside of the cooler consists of an innovative ice sleeve which can cool wine within 5 minutes.
COOKING PLATE - Pelgrim
The cooking plates for PELGRIM are characterised by the combination of gas burners on flat glass surfaces. This combination results in a functional as well as aesthetically pleasant product.
COOKING HOODS - ATAG
Collection cooking hoods fot ATAG are characterised by their minimal and sober but aesthetically pleasant look. Collection consists of 5 different versions.

TV DINNER TRAY - Royal VKB
In 2004 RVK started a projects called thoughts for food. A carefully selected group of Dutch designers were chosen to develop innovative & smart products for preparing, serving and presenting food. The TV dinner tray is a plywood tray with a non-slip coating. The tray is square shaped with a round deepened surface to symbolize your plate. The tray is finished with a non-slip coating to prevent your plate and glass from sliding when you move.
OFFICE TROLLEY - Smead
The design of this office trolley is characterised by a basic setup and the ability to change the functional configuration.
CAT CARRIER  - Curver
The cat carrier for Curver is one of the products we designed within the curver Pet Life collection. Other products in which wicker is simulated are dog baskets and cat litters which are both designed by ontwerpbureau 311.
WIRELESS DRY - Rodger
The wireless wet en dry alarm prevents children to sleep in a wet bed.


The sender is clipped onto the kids pants and will send signals to activate the receiver which is mounted directly into the wall socket
PAINTING BOTTLE - Creall
The Creall painting bottle is designed for use with children above 2 years old. The well known character of a paint bottle makes place for a new and more appealing look. The bottom of the bottle is fitted with a mixing bowl.
RECYCLE INZAMELSTRAAT - Wecycle / GAMMA
Together with Intergamma and Wecycle, ontwerpbureau 3.11 developed the recycle street placed in every GAMMA in the netherlands. The first national intake for small domestic appliances, batteries and light bulbs is a modular system which makes it suitable for small and large spaces.

The overall working space of ontwerpbureau 311 stretches from strategic consult to product design and production consult. To make sure our clients are on top of the latest trends and market developments we often facilitate workshops and brainstrom sessions.


The outcome of these workshops results in a more focussed look in product development. Next to this it is a way to understand our clients. In this case we can make sure our advise is custom(er) made.

Product Design

Our passion and competence is again llustrated in translating the produtctstrategies into real life product solutions. Knowledge of materials, mass production techniques and consumer behaviour results in product solutions which are succesfull from both consumers point of view and company goals.

Engineering

The art of good product development is a combination of creative input and structural fine tuning of functionality, aesthetics and market positioning. After the creative input ontwerpbureau 311 can consult or manage the final engineering to make sure the initial concept is respected and translated into a proper final product.


Using the latest CAD software, ontwerpbureau 311 is able to optimise time to market at less cost. Optimisation will result in a market competitive product together with optimal functionality and durability. 

Product Consultancy

Cooperation with numerous manufacturers in China, Eastern europe and local areas will contribute to a subtile translation from idea to production.

About Us

Ontwerpbureau 3.11 was founded in 1997 by Michiel Uylings (1971) and Jeroen Schaeffer (1972). They both studied at the designacademy in Eindhoven. 

 

15 years experience in product development has led to numerous successful projects for international brands.
